Agilent acquires Centellax's Test and Measurement business
16 May 2012The acquisition will help Centellax's and Agilent's customers to obtain comprehensive insight into their high-speed devices with a full spectrum of test solutions. Centellax's test and measurement business augments Agilent's current position and ongoing investments to cover all requirements in digital I/O and optical transceiver test from deep characterization in R&D to cost-effective test in manufacturing up to 32G and beyond.
"We are very excited about combining the strengths of both companies in the BERT application space," said Juergen Beck, Agilent general manager, Digital and Photonic Test Division.
Centellax's test portfolio includes bit-error ratio testers, pattern generators, clock synthesizers, signal-integrity studio software, and test accessories.
