NEC Corporation and NEC LCD Technologies Ltd said that they are agreed to merge NEC Akita Ltd and NEC Kagoshima Ltd with their parent company, NEC LCD Technologies, effective as of April 1, 2007.
The integration is aimed at increasing operational efficiencies and accelerating the decision making process through streamlined management of R&D, manufacturing, and sales functions, vital to enabling response to increasingly diverse and sophisticated customer needs in the target industrial and high-end monitor markets of NEC LCD Technologies.
