TechnoConcepts announces MoU with Fujitsu

TechnoConcepts Inc. announced that it has reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fujitsu Devices Inc. of Tokyo, Japan to promote commercialization in Japan of reconfigurable wireless communication systems by implementing software defined radio applications developed by TechnoConcepts.

Antonio Turgeon, chairman and CEO of TechnoConcepts, said, "We are very pleased that Fujitsu Devices Inc., one of leading distributors in Japan, has expressed a sincere interest in working with TechnoConcepts to develop and market our proprietary True Software Radio (TSR) technology in Japan. We are confident that the TechnoConcepts/Fujitsu Devices relationship will develop into a strong partnership that will take our software-reconfigurable Radio Frequency (RF) chip and make it the de facto standard for reconfigurable wireless communications in a broad array of applications including infotainment and communications such as telematics, navigation, and GPS."

Minoru Yamamoto, sr. VP/GM, strategic marketing group of Fujitsu Devices, stated, "TechnoConcepts’ TSR technology stands out as a huge advancement in the development of reconfigurable wireless communication devices and systems. We are excited by the opportunities to offer fully reconfigurable wireless solutions to existing, high-potential markets in Japan with particular emphasis initially on the inclusion of the TSR RF chip in cellular phone components.
