CSIL to distribute products of ETA of USA

(Product News, 23 Feb 2007 )

Cranes Software International Ltd (CSIL) has concluded an agreement with Engineering Technology Associates (ETA) of USA. Under this agreement CSIL would distribute and support ETA’s Dynaform & VPG products across India.

CSIL would hold a series of workshops and product demonstrations to both increase the awareness as well as educating the user base of eta/Dynaform and eta/VPG. eta/Dynaform is a set of tools which enable die design engineers to evaluate the performance of stamping dies prior to physical prototype stamping dies. The eta/VPG is a suite of tools used in the development of finite element models, which includes tools that enable engineers to quickly and reliably develop complex models for durability and vehicle crashworthiness.

Pradeep Kumar, executive vice president of CSIL, said, "Our association with ETA will enhance our product portfolio especially for the transportation industry. VPG in combination with LS-DYNA will help our customers handle explicit dynamic analysis problems like crash, impact, safety and drop tests which are of critical importance in today’s transportation and consumer electronics industry. They will complement Crane’s general-purpose FEA software tools, NISA. With Dynaform, Cranes will enter the manufacturing sector with a world-class metal forming solution especially addressing die and stamping analyses needs. This strategic alliance, with synergies in products, services, and customer profiles, will better serve our clients with greater product breadth and depth."
