Unica expands operations in EMEA and Asia

Unica Corporation, provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) software, announced its further expansion in Europe with the opening of its Dutch office and the appointment of a new vice president of marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Marcel Holsheimer. The company also announced Edmund Ang as its new managing director, Asia.

Holsheimer will be responsible for increasing awareness of Unica¡¯s brand and offerings across EMEA. He will also lead existing marketing operations across the region and will continue to develop Unica¡¯s position in the marketing technology space. Whereas, Edmund Ang will be responsible for driving revenue growth across Asia, Australia and Japan. He will also build upon Unica¡¯s growing customer base to solidify Unica¡¯s position of EMM market in Asia.

Yuchun Lee, Unica co-founder and CEO, said, ¡°Over the last five years, Unica has increased its revenue, staff and operations in International markets, and we are excited about this new area of growth with the opening of our Netherlands office and the addition of these two leaders.¡±

Holsheimer, newly appointed vice president for EMEA, stated, ¡°With ever-expanding complexity of marketing channels, such as Web 2.0, marketers need enterprise marketing management technology more than ever to succeed. Joining Unica means I can be directly involved in helping marketers adopt and benefit from the leading EMM solution. I am excited to be a part of driving the future of EMM.¡±
