BT announced has appointed Shiva Singh as managing director for the company’s Southeast Asia operations, based in Singapore. In his new role, Shiva will oversee all sales and operations, as well as the delivery of the BT strategy, and promote the company’s presence and services in the region, including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. He will also manage relationships with in-country partners and hold responsibility for customer satisfaction at all levels.
Allen Ma, president, BT Asia Pacific, said: “Shiva's addition to the senior management team of BT in Asia Pacific is another step on our road to being the leading networked IT services company in the region. He has a wealth of experience in sales and operations in the Southeast Asia region, as well as within the US and extensively in Europe. This adds substantially to our capabilities, particularly at this time as we increase our investment in the network and networked IT services.”
