DFC and EGT signs distribution agreement to sell HEMi digital encoders

DF Countryman(DFC), in communications needs, and EGT-in multiple system operators (MSOs), broadcasters, content providers, satellite and telecommunication-have inked a distribution agreement. The specifics of the agreement leverage DF Countryman's relationships with top tier CATV and IPTV buyers for EGT's line of digital encoders and other products. Specifically, DF Countryman's stocking requirements will focus on the "HEMi" line of encoders.
HEMi is an encoding solution for off-site insertion of local channels. Perfect for MDU and closed communities, HEMi provides an integrated and scalable solution that encodes, multiplexes, modulates and converts up to nine channels, such as security cameras, community programming or events calendars.
DFC will be showcasing these new and legacy products and manufactures at the North Central Cable Show, Great Planes SCTE, Iowa RITA and Minnesota Telephone shows over the month of March 2007.
