Dual MOSFETs cut resistance and size

( 01 Jul 2002 )
— Bill Schweber in the USA

A family of dual MOSFETs from International Rectifier gives you 25% lower on-resistance than existing devices, and due to its operating efficiency is housed in a TSSOP-8 package that is 35% smaller than the available SO-8 versions. The IRF7754 through IRF7757 provide 12V p-channel and n-channel MOSFETs with RDS(ON) in the 25 to 85 mW range, depending on the specific device. Equally important, the p-channel MOSFETs operate with low resistance at gate voltages down to

With the IRF7754 through IRF7757, you get the benefits of a low on-resistance dual MOSFET in a space-saving TSSOP-8 package.
1.8V, now required for many battery-powered devices (so there is no boost circuit required). In 10,000 piece lots, the dual MOSFETs start at US$0.52.
