Zebra Technologies appoints two new vice presidents

Zebra Technologies Corporation has announced that Donald F. O'Shea and Chester J. Trocha have joined the company as vice presidents in newly created positions.
As chief information officer, Donald O'Shea will be responsible for leading the company's information technology strategy, governance and operations, including all world-wide business systems and technology infrastructure. With more than 20 years of IT leadership experience, O'Shea, 50, comes to Zebra from Life Fitness, a unit of Brunswick Corporation, where he was vice president of information technology and led the business unit's service organization. Prior to Life Fitness, O'Shea held senior leadership positions at Siebel Systems, Inc., Oracle Corporation, and EDS. He holds a BS degree in business from the University of Maine.
Chester Trocha, 49, Zebra's vice president for global supply chain, will be responsible for leading all printer manufacturing as well as all company- wide procurement and logistics. In this capacity, his primary mission will be to develop and execute a global supply chain strategy designed to strengthen further Zebra's reputation for operational excellence in product quality, delivery, cost and working capital efficiency. Trocha joins Zebra from Jabil, Inc., where he served as director of business management. His prior experience in operations management spans more than 20 years, with positions at Cherry Corp., Xymox Technologies, and Amdahl Corp. He holds a BS degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University and an MBA from San Jose State University.
