eBRIDGE Software announces release of Integrated Translator
(Technology News, 10 Jul 2007 )
eBRIDGE Software has released its Integrated Translator. Designed to operate in conjunction with the eBridge application, the Integrated Translator eliminates the need to learn and maintain 3rd-party Translator software for the conversion, receipt, and delivery of EDI documents.
"By providing a single interface to perform Translator functions and EDI data movement, eBRIDGE has further streamlined the integration of business data to and from back-office financial and enterprise systems," stated Alex Stewart, VP of Operations at eBRIDGE Software.
"A large portion of our customers have asked for a single interface to be able to manage documents and their reconciliation," stated Bill Dynes, Sales Manager at eBRIDGE Software. "With this new product we have provided that capability with full integration to the financial system."
As an integrated application, the eBridge Translator makes use of the existing features and functions inherent in both the eBridge 2006 and eBridge 2007 platforms, including the use of Microsoft SQL Server based software to sustain the discrete Translator database, thereby greatly increasing document storage capacity with the assurance that data integrity is protected and maintained.
Further advantages of the eBridge Translator include multi-user workstations, e-mail notifications of trading partner activity, user-defined Crystal Reports(R), document archiving to store and organize documents, and search capability to quickly and easily find documents.
"The eBridge Integrated Translator eliminates a potential point of failure in the EDI document flow, resulting in worry-free operations and savings in time and resources," said Mr. Stewart. "The Translator fulfills a demand from our customers and continues with the eBRIDGE commitment to offer valuable products that greatly improve the business process in the SMB market."
