Infineon Technologies has received the “Bosch Supplier Award” for the years 2005 and 2006, presented by Robert Bosch GmbH. This is the fourth time that Infineon has received the award. With its Supplier Award, Bosch honors Infineon’s outstanding work in the creation and supply of products and services – especially with respect to reliability and quality. The assessment criteria for the award also include communication and cooperation as well as the supplier’s willingness to engage consistently in continuous improvement. Infineon received the award in the category for “Electronic Components”.
This is the eleventh time that Bosch has presented its Supplier Award since 1987. The award is open to Bosch suppliers the world over, and is conferred every two years. This year, the award was given in five categories (electronic components, mechanical and electromechanical components, services, merchandise and capital goods) to a total of 47 companies in 14 countries. The award winners were honored at a ceremony in the Staatsgalerie Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, on July 4, 2007.
