McAfee Incorporated together with its Japanese affiliate, McAfee Company, Limited have announced that Toshiba will pre-install McAfee security solutions on its 2006 Dynabook Notebook PCs, beginning with Dynabook's spring 2006 models. The 2006 models are scheduled to be released on 28th December, 2005.
With its proven security solutions and established global reputation, McAfee is quickly expanding its presence in Japan's domestic consumer market. This expansion of Toshiba's partnership with McAfee will enable McAfee to provide its proven security solutions to a large number of users.

McAfee products will be installed on Dynabook TX and Dynabook TW notebooks in the spring 2006 series. Both models are notebook PCs for consumers, featuring widescreen LCDs and enhanced usability data transport tools. Through the use of McAfee online security products, Dynabook users will have access to a comprehensive range of fully automated personal security services, including protection against viruses, spyware and hackers, private information safeguards, and tools to fight spam and phishing.
McAfee Virus Scan 2006 and McAfee Personal Firewall Plus 2006 both offer full functionality and free technical support for 90 days, including constant monitoring from the 24-hour, 365-day McAfee Data Center. Dynabook customers will also be eligible to download McAfee Privacy Service 2006 and McAfee SpamKiller(TM) 2006 from the McAfee website for a free trial period of 90 days, complete with full technical support.
