Tsinghua Tongfang and 6WIND Partner in China for New Generation e-Applications

6WIND and Tsinghua Tongfang have entered into a strategic partnership to co-develop and market industrial e-application solutions for China, the world's fastest growing economy with the largest ICT market potential.

Tsinghua Tongfang of was the first to provide intelligent e-city services in the area of integrated city management and planning and has developed total digital solutions for intelligent homes and buildings. 6WIND, a fast-expanding international networking software company, is revolutionizing development processes of new generation IP-centric applications for systems integrators and equipment makers spanning from France to China, South Korea, Japan and the USA.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tsinghua Tongfang will leverage 6WIND's cutting-edge IP-agnostic software technology to complement its industry-wide expertise in developing and marketing new lines of products and systems for 5 principal e-application areas: video surveillance, urban heating and water treatment, digital homes, highway smart card systems and intelligent building systems.
