Tensilica announced an agreement with Tata Elxsi Ltd. With its headquarters in Bangalore, India Tata Elxsi will become a recommended design center for Tensilica and Tata Elxsi's engineers will be fully trained on Tensilica's Xtensa processor design technology. Tata Elxsi provides embedded product design services including hardware and software, for a number of leading global semiconductor and electronics manufacturers.
