Symphony Opens Excellence Center in Bangalore

(Interviews, 19 Jun 2006 )

Symphony Services has announced the inauguration of its second development center in Bangalore called the ‘Symphony Innovation and Excellence Center.’

Commenting on the vision of Symphony Services, Gordon Brooks, CEO and president said, "We are at the forefront of the innovation partnership revolution in India and are a name to reckon with for building innovative software products for our clients. In 2005 alone, we completed the end-to-end management for 25 products - most of which were white board to market releases. Today we have over 240 products under management for over 70 large customers and emerging companies in our development centers in Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai." Gordon Brooks added, "Our passion for performance, evidenced in our commitment to excellence, along with our collaboration and innovation will ensure our future success."

The new center, with a built up area exceeding 2,00,000 sq. ft. (in lakhs) and a maximum seating capacity of over 2,000, will be Symphony's 2nd development center in Bangalore - the first being the Symphony Technology Center, located in the heart of the city. This is also Symphony Services' fourth development center in India, joining other centers in Pune and Mumbai.

"Symphony Services has seen exceptional growth every year since inception. Now in our fourth year, we have achieved what has taken others a decade or more to achieve. We believe that our people are the key ingredient for our extraordinary growth. In this context, we have hired and continue to attract the best talent in the industry to Symphony," said Dr. Ajay Kela, COO and managing director, Symphony Services. "The new development center allows us to comfortably grow and is a testament to our continued commitment to promoting India as a software destination and further endorses our capability to successfully move up the software value chain by developing innovative products for our discerning customers," he added.
