Alereon Signs Distribution Agreement with RTI

Alereon, Inc. has announced RTI Industries Company Ltd. (RTI) of Hong Kong as its new distributor to meet Alereon's growing need for sales and support of its complete solutions for UWB applications in China.

RTI acts both as a direct sell-through representative and as a true VAR, delivering engineering services across a wide spectrum from basic circuit design to full service total solution. RTI has seven offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Chengdu, Xian and Shenzhen, which provide application engineering services and technical support through its experienced Field Application Engineers (FAE) to high tech manufacturing firms.

"With the upsurge in Alereon's design activity in China, we decided to augment our distribution and service center to support our continuous growth in the territory," stated Yung Han, vice president of Asia sales. "We are excited about our new partnership with RTI, who is perfectly positioned with the expertise and the presence throughout China, providing first class support to its business partners and well-suited to provide the support needed for our expansion."
