Flexible 400mV reference draws just 5.6µA

( 01 Nov 2004 )

The LT6650 features a built-in rail-to-rail output buffer amplifier and ±1% guaranteed accuracy from -40 to 85 ¼C. Suited for portable industrial and medical equipment, plus low power instrumentation Linear Technology's flexible reference operates over a wide 1.4 to 18V supply range.

The LT6650 consumes less than 6uA with supply levels up to 18V. Using external gain resistors, the output voltage can be adjusted from 400mV up to the positive supply rail using the on-chip rail-to-rail buffer amp. The device can be configured to operate in either shunt or series mode, and the output buffer is capable of sourcing or sinking up to 200uA. Three temperature grades cover the commercial (0 to 70 ¼C), industrial (-40 to 85 ¼C) and automotive (-40 to 125 ¼C) ranges, which is $1.25 in 1,000 orders.
