AXS-One, IVAN JV to Address Increasingly Rigorous Demands for RCM

(Interviews, 20 Mar 2007 )

AXS-One Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with IVAN Information Technology Company, as part of the drive to strengthen its presence in Taiwan and greater Asia. The reseller agreement comes at a time when Taiwanese companies are seeking to better manage data archiving.

Under the terms of the agreement, IVAN a reseller of Hewlett-Packard products, Oracle and SAP and QAD enterprise software, will resell the AXS-One Compliance Platform in the Taiwanese market where demand for records compliance management solutions is increasing, but has remained mostly unfulfilled until now.

"Due to increasing regulatory compliance and governance requirements worldwide, and the expanded reach of Taiwan's firms overseas, we are now starting to see a significant increase in demand for content archiving and electronic records management," said Kathleen Phillips, Regional Director of AXS-One. "We are pleased to partner with IVAN, whose network and strong technical capability will enable AXS-One to take full advantage of these trends, while also extending our penetration in Taiwan."

Initially focusing on system integration and value-added reselling targeting specific vertical markets, the strategic alliance with AXS-One enables IVAN to continue to expand its expertise to include content archiving and electronic records management.

Ewen Chan, Managing Director at IVAN Information Technology Company, commented: "To meet more stringent international compliance requirements, companies in Taiwan need to expand beyond e-mail archiving and point solutions and opt instead to manage all electronic content through comprehensive and integrated solutions. Working with AXS-One, IVAN is expanding the scope of services that we provide to our customers. We expect this partnership to be a win-win situation, where Taiwan's companies will benefit from better electronic records management that result in a stronger international competitive position."
