Kinesix Software has sold several licenses for its KX EDGE software product to the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.
Kinesix closed the sale through its partners at Beijing’s Shengzuo Software Technology, Inc. The two companies expect China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation to use KX EDGE at its Second Academy organization, which integrates Chinese research and development with state expertise in electronics, mechanics, acoustics and optics. The Second Academy, which was founded in 1957, has developed everything from flight vehicles and medical instruments to pharmaceutical machinery and radio-broadcast equipment.
“Second Academy will utilize our products to monitor huge volumes of data across large networks using sophisticated graphics,” said Russ Jamerson, CEO of Kinesix Software. “What’s more, it will be able to do so without having to develop and maintain complex home-grown software.”
The deal bolsters Kinesix’s long list of aerospace customers, including NASA, the Canadian Space Agency, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Russian Mission Control, and numerous international aerospace companies.
