Kinesix Software has sold several licenses for its KX EDGE software product to the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, the main contractor for the Chinese space program.
Kinesix closed the sale through its partners at Beijing’s Shengzuo Software Technology, Inc. The two companies expect China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation to use KX EDGE at its Second Academy organization.
“Second Academy will utilize our products to monitor huge volumes of data across large networks using sophisticated graphics,” said Russ Jamerson, CEO of Kinesix Software. “What’s more, it will be able to do so without having to develop and maintain complex home-grown software.”
The sale continues Kinesix’s business momentum in China, where the company already boasts several deployments. These include Beijing’s new Metro Line 5 subway system, the Hong Kong Subway System, the Hong Kong East Rail System and a deployment with the China Power Investment Corporation.
