New Delhi: Toshiba India Pvt Ltd (TIPL) and HCL Infosystems Limited issued a joint statement reaffirming their commitment to working together in growing their presence in the Indian market.
According to an official spokesperson from Toshiba India, "We have a long standing and constantly growing relationship with HCL as our trusted partner into the Indian market. HCL as a partner brings synergy to Toshiba products through their unparalleled strengths in pan-Indian distribution and support infrastructure. We are delighted to note that the notebook relationship that was initiated with HCL in 1996 has helped Toshiba notebooks to emerge as the preferred choice in mobile computing for customers across the country."
Echoing the commitment to working together toward greater strength, HCL Infosystems spokesperson said, "The three decade old relationship between Toshiba and HCL has gone from strength to strength and achieved market leadership in all the chosen segments. We are presently working with Toshiba for bringing new products and technologies to the Indian market. We will be shortly introducing new notebook models in Indian market, in line with Toshiba's world-wide launch programs."
