SEVEN Welcomes New Vice President and General Manager

SEVEN has appointed Peter Hogewoning, as its Vice President and new General Manager for Asia Pacific. Hogewoning took over the position from outgoing vice president and general manager Siddharth Mahajan on August 1, 2007. In his new position, Hogewoning will oversee SEVEN's Asia Pacific team and spearhead the expansion of SEVEN's push email services in emerging markets, such as China and India, and oversee other business developments in the region.
Hogewoning was regional vice president of Asia for Openwave Systems prior to founding GTM Partners, a professional sales and field operations organization headquartered in Hong Kong. He joined Openwave as European sales director and under his direction, Openwave captured a leading position in WAP and Mobile Internet applications in Europe. Earlier in his career, Hogewoning held various leading sales positions for AT&T and Lucent Technologies in both Asia and Europe. Hogewoning holds an MSc degree from the Technical University in Eindhoven.

SEVEN's Asia Pacific headquarters is located in Singapore and the company has five offices in the region including a research and development office in Hangzhou, China.
