Mouser Electronics Signs Global Distribution Agreement with California Micro Devices

Mouser Electronics Inc. has signed a global distribution agreement with California Micro Devices (CMD), a leading supplier of application-specific analog and mixed signal semiconductor products for the mobile handset, digital consumer electronics, and personal computer markets.
Mouser will stock CMD's Praetorian ESD/EMI protection devices, PicoGuard low capacitance ESD devices, MediaGuard HDMI protection devices, as well as other CMD products.
According to Mike Scott, Mouser Vice President of Active Products, the distribution agreement with California Micro Devices capitalizes on Mouser's core competencies of rapid product introduction, extensive stocking, and promotion of the newest products to the design engineering community.
