GigaSpaces partners with Penta Systems to deliver extreme transaction processing solution to Korean Market
(Business News, 14 Nov 2007 )
GigaSpaces Technologies has announced a partnership with Korean-based Penta Systems, a leading technology company with strong experience in distributed applications, Java, middleware and application servers. As a distributor of GigaSpaces' eXtreme Application Platform (XAP), Penta Systems will introduce XAP into the Korean market to help organizations address application scalability and performance limitations.
While most large-scale enterprise IT systems currently use tier-based architecture middleware, the rapid growth of companies' applications is causing problems within the infrastructure. With hundreds of applications running simultaneously and requiring large amounts of parallel processing, IT departments are encountering problems with performance, scalability and load dispersion.
GigaSpaces solves the issues prevalent with tier-based computing by providing a high-performance architecture that enables efficient data caching and effective grid computing through its philosophy of space-based architecture. XAP is a robust middleware platform that allows applications to achieve true linear scalability, reliability, low latency and high performance. XAP collocates data, messaging and business logic, eliminating the bottlenecks that can occur in the application server, messaging middleware and database.
Penta Systems will officially launch its distribution of GigaSpaces XAP at the Millennium Hilton Hotel, in Seoul, Korea, on November 7th, 2007.
