EnerSys extends its DataSafe HX line to include smaller-sized batteries to meet the requirements of single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The series includes seven models: the HX25 through the HX150. These valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries have a 10-year design life for use by UPS original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well as data center and facility managers in the information technology industry. These batteries are specifically designed to maximize space utilization as well as reduce storage and maintenance costs.
