IAR Systems strengthens development team with appointment of CTO and Engineering Director

IAR Systems has announced that it has appointed Petter Edman to the newly created position of Chief Technical Officer (CTO). At the same time Petter’s former position as Engineering Director has been taken over by the Project Director Anders Pikas.
Petter Edman has been with IAR Systems for over 13 years, and has several years of experience in the telecom industry, having formerly worked as a team leader for Ellemtel, a R&D organization owned jointly by Ericsson and Swedish Telecom. He has a MSc in Engineering Physics, with a focus on Computer Technology, from Uppsala University.
Anders Pikas joined IAR Systems for the second time in 2005, having previously worked as a software project leader at Stoneridge Electronics, Bromma, Sweden and prior to that as a product marketing manager at Enea OSE Systems in Täby, Sweden and in Houston, Texas. From 1995 to 2000 he was a project leader in the development department at IAR Systems in Uppsala. Anders also has a MSc in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University.
