Lambda's industrial power supplies are first with lifetime warranty

(Product News, 21 Jan 2008 )

Lambda has announced that effective January 2, 2008, new purchases of its HWS series of single-output, industrial-grade, power supplies will now include a limited lifetime warranty, a "first" in the industry.

Up to now, the HWS series included an excellent 5-year warranty. However, because the reliability of the HWS series has been field-proven since its introduction several years ago, with a negligible return rate, it was decided to offer this new industry-leading lifetime warranty. The full range of the HWS series industrial-grade supplies from 15W to 1800W, including the "HD" heavy-duty and the "ME" medically-approved versions, are covered provided of course that they are installed and used in accordance with Lambda's instruction manuals.

Commenting on this unprecedented offering, David Norton, VP Marketing, said "In order to be able to offer such a market-leading product warranty we had to have total confidence in our supplies. The quality and reliability of our HWS series power supplies is superb and our customers know that they can depend on our supplies for their industrial, medical and COTS applications. With the addition of this new lifetime warranty our customers' "total-cost-of-ownership" is now radically reduced. And, Lambda is showing the world how confident we are in the long-term reliability of these power supplies.".
