Tyco Electronics’ MINIPAK HDE connector is a high current power module designed to complement the compay’s high-speed backplane connectors including Z-PACK HM-Zd, Z-PACK TinMan and MULTIGIG RT connectors. It is a high current, dual row board-to-board or backplane power module connector that offers long-term reliability in demanding environments. It features hot-pluggable power contacts rated at 18A per contact that are sequenced for mate-first-break-last operation, and has a one-piece molded housing designed to allow airflow through the connector to reduce heat build-up.
