A step further with Altium Designer 6.9

( 01 Jul 2008 )

Altium has released the Altium Designer 6.9, taking the Altium Designer 6.8 one step further, building on features such as real-time 3D PCB visualization, and introducing other features such as programmable technology support and system connectivity. The 6.9 also combines with Altium’s Desktop NanoBoard reconfigurable development platform, to give designers an improved product development environment and the freedom to conceive and create innovative products – from concept right through to deployment, with or without device intelligence, with or without hardware. It also includes FPGA peripheral cores (supporting both OpenBus and schematic-based design), context-sensitive C language help, the ability to capture 3D images to the Windows clipboard and new user interface features such as Units Toggling and a 3D Origin Marker.
