Low-capacitance diode-array family targets handheld devices

( 01 Jul 2008 )

Aiming at portable, handheld systems, this family of low-capacitance diode-array devices provides ESD (electrostatic-discharge) and clamping protection. The devices use the vendor痴 TVS2 (transient-voltage-protection using trench-vertical-structure) device and process technology. Features include ア30-kVESD protection for contact and air discharge, 6.9V maximum channel-clamping voltage at 15A peak-pulse current, and 15-pF typical capacitance. The single-diode AOZ8201 and AOZ8211 come in 1.6ラ0.8ラ0.6-mm SOD523 and 1ラ0.6ラ0.4-mm SOD923 packages, respectively. Measuring 1.6ラ1.6ラ0.6 mm, the four-channel AOZ8204 and five-channel AOZ8205 diode arrays come in SC-89 housing.
