'LEDs Asia 2009' Conference Announced; Industry Leaders, Technology Experts to Meet in Hong Kong

(Business News, 12 Feb 2009 )

Building from successes in the photonics and solid-state lighting sectors, global conference producer IntertechPira is pleased to announce LEDs Asia 2009 conference and exhibit, taking place March 31 through April 2, 2009 at the Eaton Hotel Hong Kong.

Asia is instrumental in the rapid development and application integration of LEDs. As the hub of electronic research and development, Asian operations continue to evaluate challenges facing the LED market and push the technology forward to meet the needs of end users and customers. IntertechPira's LEDs Asia 2009 brings collaborative discussion to Hong Kong, the forefront of technology innovation.

Attendees will hear directly from Grandar Lightscape, developers of the Beijing Olympic Water Cube LED system about emerging architectural applications for LEDs. ASTRI and ElectroniCast Consultants will provide strategic analysis of the rapidly emerging LED market. LED backlighting leader Kenmos will update participants on the adoption of LEDs in this exciting area of application, while SemiLEDs, CREE, Osram Opto Semiconductors and Optoelectronix will discuss uses in illumination.

LEDs Asia 2009 will provide an opportunity for researchers, developers and manufacturers to discuss emerging applications, requirements, and challenges of LED technology. Sessions will include market and industry forecasts, regulation talks, news of chip and technology advances, and extensive application discussions - all from the perspective of Asia-based industry experts. With over 20 presentations and numerous networking events, this technical and business conference is a must attend event for anyone involved in the LED industry.

To learn more or register for the conference, visit the event website at www.LEDsAsia.com, or contact Michael Robert at IntertechPira: +1-207-781-9631 or michael.robert@pira-international.com. Exhibit and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
