Z-Communications Inc.'s RoHS compliant VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator) model CRO2781A-LF in S-band operates at 2.78GHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5VDC to 4.5VDC. Featuring a typical phase noise of -115dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 9MHz/V, the CRO2781A-LF is well suited for microwave radio and satellite communication applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
The CRO2781A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 7.5dBm at 5VDC supply while drawing 19mA (typical). This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -18dBc and comes in Z-Comm's MINI-16 package. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO2781A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
