Crystal oscillator measures 2.2x1.4x1mm

Epson Toyocom Corp. has developed what is said to be the world’s smallest 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. The SG-3050BC measures just 2.2x1.4x1mm—with a footprint and cubic volume 70 percent and 75 percent smaller, respectively, than its predecessor.

The SG-3050BC crystal oscillator is equipped with an ultra-compact QMEMS crystal chip and utilizes Epson Toyocom’s original NPO (New Platform Oscillator) structure.
