Extraordinary revenue growth, professional technical support and outstanding customer service has won Avnet Memec China the title of Top Distributor of the Year 2008 from TriQuint Semiconductor, a provider of RF products and foundry services. Avnet Memec China is a business region of Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia.
This marks the second time that Avnet Memec China has been recognized by TriQuint as its top distributor. Avnet won the same title in 2007. The award recognizes Avnet's overall performance including support, service, design wins and responsiveness to customers. Award winners were chosen based on nomination by members of TriQuint's executive sales team and presented by TriQuint's Vice President of Global Sales, Todd DeBonis, at the company's annual sales conference.
