Digi-Key Corp. and MEC Switches announced today the signing of a global distribution agreement. In stock and ready for immediate shipment on Digi-Key’s global websites are MEC’s three main lines of switches:
* Multimec available in both through-hole and surface mounting packages
* Illumec with LED options
* Unimec compact and reliable with a unique contact concept
These products will also be featured in future print and online catalogs.
With a commitment to excellence that extends more than 70 years, MEC designs and manufacturers its Multimec and Illumec switches to withstand at least 10 million operations. Sealed to meet IP67 specifications and generally available in low and high temperature versions, these MEC switches are suitable for multiple applications in many different industry sectors, including audio/video, broadcasting, instrumentation, medical and defense, and wherever customers require performance, reliability, and design.
