Intermec has announced the appointment of three key hires for its Asia Pacific division, which have been made to further strengthen Intermec’s capabilities and expertise in the region.
In her new role as Director, Marketing, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, Penny Chai is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive Asia Pacific Marketing plan supporting Intermec business objectives, including successful local delivery of global campaigns and programs that ramp customer and channel demand. In addition, Penny will manage Intermec’s channel marketing program as well as helping to define local product and solution requirements and drive field marketing activities increasing APAC team engagement with customers and partners.
Penny has almost 15 years of marketing experience at Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard, and most recently at Dell B.V., where she served as Regional Director for the Singapore Design Center for Dell’s worldwide portfolio of printers and projectors.
Cary Noah has been appointed as Senior Director, Asia Operations, and is responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction for all aspects of supply chain operations in the region. In his new role, Cary’s focus is to ensure on-time customer service, robust quality controls for all Intermec suppliers in the APAC region as well as ensuring that Intermec’s logistics operations are a benchmark for quality in the industry. Cary has over 18 years of experience in the supply chain industry; both in the United States and Southeast Asia. Cary has previously worked with some of the world’s leading technology companies including Hewlett-Packard, Fluke Corp. and Agilent.
Andrew Chew is the Senior Director, Printer Engineering for the Printer Media Division at Intermec. In this role he is responsible for all printer and printing solutions development; including strategy and roadmap development. Andrew manages a global team of over 50 professionals based both in Asia and the United States. Prior to joining Intermec, Andrew Chew held positions at Dell and Hewlett Packard and comes with 17 years of printer development experience in R&D management.
