Advantech's latest 3.5in Single Board Computer (SBC) PCM-9361 is driven by the 45nm Intel Atom N270 processor with 945GSE and ICH7M chipset, offering low power consumption in a fanless design. The low power rating of the Atom architecture consumes only 10W and provides rich I/O functionality. PCM-9361 supports multiple display output including: 36-bit LVDS1, 48-bit LVDS2, CRT and 18-bit TTL LCD.
The PCM-9361 is a 3.5in form factor (146x102mm) SBC, which is one of the most popular embedded form factors with same size as a 3.5in floppy drive. The product was designed with compact low profile considerations; the total height including the fanless heatsink is only 27mm, making it suitable for a 1U chassis design.
The PCM-9361 with Intel 945GSE chipset uses the integrated Intel GMA950 graphic engine and supports Microsoft DirectX 9.1 and multiple displays. Windows 7, Windows Vista, XP, XPe, WinCE 5.0, WinCE 6.0 and QNX operating systems are all supported. The PCM-9361 comes with Advantech’s Software API (SUSI) to help customers integrate and configure their applications more easily.
All Advantech standard SBC products are tested to work reliably up to temperatures of 60°C, with optional extended temperature ranges of -20°C to 80°C available. The PCM-9361 is suitable for general purpose applications, including POS/KIOSK, medical, factory automation, transportation, entry-level gaming machines, and security and surveillance sectors.
