Mouser Electronics Inc.'s distribution agreement with EPCOS has been expanded into Europe and Asia. Since October 2009, EPCOS has been combined with TDK in the new company TDK-EPC Corp., which markets its products under the product brands TDK’s electronic components business and EPCOS. TDK-EPC is a global manufacturer of electronic components, modules and systems.
The Mouser/EPCOS distribution agreement now includes Europe and Asia, which allows Mouser to provide EPCOS products worldwide. Customers the world over now have the convenience of ordering EPCOS’ latest components and newest technologies from Mouser. Mouser currently has branch locations throughout the world, including Germany, England, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai, and has launched websites and printed catalogs in multiple currencies and languages.
Andy Kerr, Mouser Vice President, Passives, says, “Our long standing partnership with EPCOS is strengthened through the new distribution agreement and we are so pleased to now have a global presence for their products. Design engineers know and trust the vast and varied product line of EPCOS brand capacitors, inductors and circuit protection devices.”
“Mouser’s strategy of working with the latest products and aiming to be the first to list them in their virtual and regional print catalogues fits us perfectly. Together we have experienced good growth in North America, so now I am looking forward to Mouser playing a larger role in Europe and Asia,” commented Dietmar Jaeger, EPCOS Senior Director Distribution Sales.
