Fairchild Semiconductor has developed a 4-channel integrated video filter that supports the set-top-box and DVD markets. Operating at 8MHz, the FMS6144A offers robust ESD protection up to 9kV and provides a 3V supply option so designers can use this in either 5V or 3V systems.
The device is capable of having inputs AC or DC coupled, saving 10 percent board space and reducing design complexity by eliminating eight additional components. The FMS6144A complements the FMS6143 3-Channel device and FMS6145 5-Channel device.
