Interop Technologies Names Eddie DeCurtis as VP in Asia Pacific Sales

Interop Technologies has named Eddie DeCurtis to the newly created position of Vice President of Asia-Pacific Sales. DeCurtis brings more than 17 years of telecommunications experience to Interop, where he will focus on new business development in the Asia-Pacific region.

DeCurtis has worked internationally for 10 years, and has spent six years focusing on technical sales solutions and business development. He is credited with helping to negotiate high-value deals with international operators and leading Asia-Pacific market development efforts resulting in long-term customer relationships. Prior to joining Interop, DeCurtis was Vice President of International Technical Sales and Global Solutions for an international wireless services provider.

For seven years, DeCurtis was with VeriSign Inc., where he served as International Technical Director. While at VeriSign, DeCurtis recruited and built the solutions market development team for Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Western Europe. He is credited with creating a bookings backlog within just 12 months. He helped enable key customer wins, including SingTel, Brazil Telecom, British Telecom, Telefónica, China Unicom, and SK Telecom. He also led efforts to expand VeriSign’s SS7 network into new markets with the first being Asia-Pacific.
