Renesas Technology Corp. was awarded the “2009 Most Successful MCU Enterprise in China” during the Semiconductor Market Conference "IC Market China 2010" held in Shanghai on March 9-10. The company was noted for its four distinguished aspects: excellent operating result in 2009, rapid growth of the enterprise, good development prospect and strong innovation on product and technology. This is the second consecutive year Renesas received this prestigious award in the industry.
The Annual Semiconductor Market Conference is co-organized by the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA), China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) and Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association (SICA). As an important annual market activity in the semiconductor industry, its professionalism and authority are self-evident. With the theme "Realize the trend for reform, capture the opportunity for revival", the award presented in this annual conference recognizes the outstanding contribution of Renesas in 2009.
A key factor for Renesas to receive this award consecutively is its overall strategy in the China market. Since company foundation in 2003, MCU has been regarded as Renesas’ strategic core.
