The LTC2439-1 is an 8-channel, differential input, low cost 16-bit ADC with a no latency delta-sigma architecture that allows single-cycle settling time. The digital filter always settles in one conversion cycle even after a change in multiplexer input channels.
Targeted at temperature or pressure sensors, process control equipment, or other applications that demand precise measurement of several inputs, the LTC2439-1's accurate internal oscillator eliminates external crystals or clocks simplifying design and saving board space. Reference voltage can range from 0.1V to Vcc, maintaining 16-bit performance and providing flexibility in ratiometric and remote sensing applications.
The LTC2439-1 operates from 2.7 to 5.5V and consumes 200µA during conversion and 2uA during shutdown. Available in 28-pin SSOP package in both commercial and industrial temperature ranges. Pin-compatible with the 24-bit LTC2418.
