In India, Oracle has announced the first integrated release of the Oracle Identity Management suite since acquiring Oblix in March 2005. The release delivers identity solution to safeguard information, critical systems and applications against unauthorized access across heterogeneous computing environments.
Hasan Rizvi, vice president-Security and Identity Management Products-Oracle, stated, "When we acquired Oblix, Oracle provided an outline for how we would rapidly integrate Oblix technology with Oracle's existing identity offerings. This release marks the first milestone delivering on that commitment and brings together the best features and technologies that will help us to meet the strong demand for Oracle's identity products."
It is said that the new release of Oracle Identity Management includes a number of enhancements to the Oracle COREid Access and Identity, Oracle COREid Federation, Oracle COREid Provisioning and Oracle Web Services Manager components of the suite, further extending its leading heterogeneous capabilities.
