Japan based-Anritsu Corporation, provides communication solutions, has launched its operations in Bangalore, India. The expansion into India came as demand increased in Asia and around the world for communication solutions.
The company claims that its India office would take an active role in 3G testing and serve the needs of the Indian market for the existing and next-generation wired and wireless communication systems. It would also help create business opportunities to serve world-class players in telecommunications by strengthening support capabilities.
The company provides microwave/RF components, optical devices and high-speed devices for design into communication products and systems. According to the company it has strength of 3600 employees globally with sales for the year ended March 31, 2005 totalling $790 million.
