Littelfuse, Inc.'s Teccor Q2L series SIDACtor device, claimed to be the world's smallest protection thyristor, is designed for dense board telecom applications and CPE (customer premises equipment). The Q2L series offers a 54% reduction in PCB real estate requirements and a 51% reduction in height profile (1.0mm height on PCB). This reduction makes the Q2L series ideal for high board density applications. The thyristor has a wide range of Ipp ratings including 75A for the 5 310/10 700μs event (ITU/YDT waveform), 80A for 10 1000μs event (GR 1089 waveform) and 100A for 10 560μs event (TIA-968).
