Global Display Solutions Ltd. (GDS), in the design and manufacture of industrial displays, announced that it is opening a facility in China.
The new facility, to be known as GDS (Suzhou), is situated in Wujain Fenhu Economic Development Zone, on the border of Shanghai. The new Chinese facility will consist of a professional industrial monitor line with class 100 clean level. A Surface Mount Technology line will also be installed along with a clean room with up to 10K clean level.
Ocean Tseng, general manager for GDS (Suzhou), said, "The opening of this latest GDS facility demonstrates our ongoing commitment to manufacturing high quality products while driving down costs for the benefit of our customers. This new site also fits into GDS's long-term strategy to provide cost-effective display solutions to all key global markets."
