Endevco Corporation--designer and manufacturer of instrumentation for vibration, shock and pressure measurement--announced an expansion and upgrade of its microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) production facility in Sunnyvale, CA.
The one-year, $5-million effort will expand the company's clean room and testing facilities in response to the growing use of MEMS technology. The goal is to improve the facility's infrastructure for DI H2O, HVAC, exhaust and electrical capacity while providing space for new equipment and expansion over time.
John Kemp, president of Endevco, said, "MEMS technology offers significant advantages in terms of product operation, performance, reliability and affordability. It is a key consideration in our new product development planning. Our goal is to have in place the resources to ensure that we continue to deliver these benefits to our customers in the most effective and efficient manner."
