PTC, the product development company announced that Emerging Display Technologies (EDT), the supplier of visual display market and in LCD industry, said that it is adopting the PTC including Pro/Engineer, Windchill PDMLink, Windchill ProjectLink and Pro/Intralink. EDT has worldwide operations and serves customers such as LG and Lexmark. EDT plans to finalize the implementation by May 31, 2007 and estimates that PTC solutions will lead to a 20% decrease in new product development time as well as an aggregate savings of $625,000 every year.

The powerful combination of Pro/Engineer and Windchill will give us the ability to involve customers early in product planning exercises in order to clarify product requirements.
