Interra Systems Inc. announced that AOI Technology Inc., developer of next generation reconfigurable system LSI for multimedia processing and a joint venture of Olympus Corporation and ITX Corporation, has decided to use its SMPTE VC1 Analyzer for analyzing encoded video streams. Interra's SMPTE VC1 Analyzer verifies a range of audio/video streams for compliance with several media standards including VC1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Video standards, the AMR & AAC Audio standards, MPEG2 Transport, MP4, 3GPP and ASF.
Naoshi Ogawa, director of application engineering at AOI Technology, said, "We are pleased select Interra's Analyzer after our evaluation. Interra's SMPTE VC1 Analyzer includes support for older video formats, that was very important to us. Interra Systems Inc. and its Japanese partner Innotech Inc. have demonstrated their willingness and ability to support our engineering efforts quite well."
