Aerospace Products International (API), provider of innovative distribution and supply chain services for the aviation industry, announced a major international expansion. In this expansion, API will open its newest distribution and logistics center located in Shanghai, China. API (Shanghai) will enhance the product distribution services and allow serving as a major third-party logistics (3PL) provider in the Asia Pacific region.
Michael Culver, president & CEO of First Aviatioon Services, said, "Since opening our first Asia Pacific logistics and distribution center in the Philippines in 2000, API has experienced rapid growth, now serving more than 400 customers in 34 countries throughout the region, including China. The new facility in Shanghai will serve as a major gateway to and from China for API's 150 product lines and for our current and future customers."
